    WOW. That house looks like something out of a fantasy film. I would love to live there, every thing looks so peaceful and i love the waterfall and koi pond. I can almost hear the running water. Makes our “lego” houses look so depressing!!

    You are an inspiration.

    I am a bonsai novice, but I just want to say that I think bonsai is truly a ” whole world” art. People all over the world can look to bonsai for soul enrichment. To me, bonsai is a universal language that everyone, young and old, rich and poor, can understand and be moved by. Bonsai is a force for peace in the word.

    I love your literati drawings as well.

    Hi Robert,

    I just discover your blog. I love your bonsaïs and I love your house too. I am a wood artist from France, internationnaly known and just start growing bonsaïs. I find in your work a way where I would like to go in the art of bonsaïs (Look at my work and you will understand).
    Anyway thank you for displaying your work and thoughts like this. I fell close to you.

    Harus dipakai sesuai dengan ukuran batang/ cabang. Kalau terlalu besar atau keras, sebaiknya dengan gergaji.

    Pak Robert.. saya ruzi dari malaysia (kelantan).. Saya begitu tertarik dgn pokok Pak Robert.. saya juga ada meniru gaya pokok Pak Robert tapi tak seindah yang Pak Robert bikin.. soalannya : apa pendapat Pak Robert tentang spesis pokok cucur atap ? adakah spesis pokok ini boleh dimajukan sebagai pokok yang kekal lama & berkualiti. masalah pokok ini pula adalah kerap kering & mati dari satu dahan ke satu dahan, Apakah Cara Untuk Mengatasi masalah tersebut…

    Hi Ruzi,
    Trims. Di Indonesia (daerah Belitung) juga punya Cucur Atap yang disebut Sapu-sapu. Saya juga sangat senang dengan species ini, tetapi problemnya sama…tidak tahan hidup lama, sering mati ranting dan keringannya (jin-shari) cepat keropos.
    Sampai saat ini, kamipun belum mendapatkan jalan keluarnya.

    Apa Khabar,Pak Robert di Indonesia…Saya Chin dari Malaysia…(KL).Saya begitu kagum dengan gaya stail pokok pokok bonsai yang di cipta oleh Pak Robert.Saya benar-benar suka dengan hobi ini.Saya berasa kesal kerana bulan May yang lalu,saya tidak sempat bertemu dangan pak kerana kerja….Tetapi bila saya masuk web pak…Pak Robert akan datang ke MALAYSIA SEKALI lagi August yang datang…tetapi tidak sebut kat mana?Harap maklum dan beritahu kat mana tempat…Thanks… & all the best…..

Ingin saya mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih pada pak robert kerna kesudian bapak hadir ke kelantan (malaysia) di kediaman En.bohori & kak ani tuk wawancara berdailog & demo yang disampaikan oleh bapak tangar 21-23 august 08 tempoh hari. saya rasa amat berbesar hati kerna dapat pengetahuan dan tunjuk ajar dari Pak Robert & yang paling bangga sekali adalah kenangan berfoto secara solo bersama Pak Robert.     Saya bangga punya master bonsai yang asli indonesia, namun saya yakin anda tidak akan pernah merasa seperti itu…karena saya tahu bahwa orang bonsai itu tak pernah berhenti untuk belajar…

    I was extremely amazed to see all your work.. My Dad is into Bonsai and I really appreciate your work. My Dad and me have turned to be your fan for the commendable work that you do. I hope some day if i get the golden opportunity to go to Indonesia and see your work through my eyes.

    N I love your home… Its beautiful and as an artist you have deeply inspired me and touched my heart.
